Liam Turned 2!
Okay I am not a completely horrible mother but feel pretty bad. I have like no pictures of Liam from his birthday. It was a pretty tame day. I decided not to do a party seeing as we were trying to save up for the arrival of little brother and me taking 12 weeks off of work to be home with the boys. So me and Paul decided we would take him to a scottsdale train park. Liam loves trucks and trains so we figured it would be perfect. We first had to make a stop at Liam's cousin's baptism. After the baptism Paul's mom gave Liam his gift she made for him. It is tradition in Paul's family that on the granchild's second birthday the child receives an animal blanket, for boys a bear. Liam sleeps with his bear blanket every night and has to fall asleep holding the eyes of the bear,so sweet. After that we headed out for the days festivities. Liam had a great time looking at the trains, riding a train that circled the park, riding the carousel and running all over the park. It was pretty warm but overcast so that helped. Paul had to do a lot of the chasing that day. Contractions were happening a lot for me. We then made him a cake the next day that had thomas the train on top and my homemade train tracks. Lol I tried right. At the end of September we did a triple birthday that included Avery, Liam and myself that my sister Dianna hosted at her house. I was greatful Liam was able to have a little more celebration of his birth and he most certainly enjoyed the gifts he was given by the family. Liam I promise next year I will make it better. Thank goodness he will not remembr this year. But Liam we love you so much and will remember this birthday as our last with you as our one and only child our whole world at that point!
