Splash pad by the lake

Last Friday Liam and I went to the power ranch country club by the lake with my sister and her kids. There was a splash pad by the lake which, since it has been so hot, made for a nice destination. We brought food, blankets, swim suits and sunscreen and had a really good time. The kids had fun chasing the ducks and playing in the water. Liam, just as i thought screamed most of the time he was on the splash pad so we watched alot from a far. Had a good time though sitting on our blanket in the shade, keeping cool. We were there for a couple of hours so Liam decided he would take a nap in the grass. I think we will probably do this activity again this summer. Maybe Liam will like it a little better next time.
